Custom Stair Building in Gallatin & Nashville, TN

Stairs take more daily wear than almost anything else in a house, which is why I build them to hold up, not just to look good on install day. I build and install treads, risers, handrails, newel posts, and balusters in red oak and white oak, and I also refinish or reface existing stairs that have gone flat, scuffed, or outdated without needing a full teardown.

Every stair run gets measured against code for rise, run, and rail height before I cut a single piece, and every tread gets fit and finished so the grain and stain match end to end, not just close enough. On refacing jobs, I match new treads and risers to your existing stringers and trim so the whole staircase reads as one cohesive piece, not a patch job.

This work covers new stair builds during construction or remodels, and refinishing projects for homeowners who want their existing staircase to look new again without replacing the whole structure. I'm the one measuring, cutting, and installing on every job — not a name on a quote handing it off to someone else.
